I enjoy my time riding in the northern rural farm country of Dallas, Texas. Since moving here in 2015 I have found that the rolling hills of northern McKinney; the flat plains of Prosper, Celina, and Gunter; and the gravel county roads of Pilots Point, Tioga and Collinsville, as you approach Lake Ray Roberts, are my sanctuary.

Before moving to Dallas I lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I managed a bike shop called, Schlegel Bicycles. I didn’t own a car at that time and being that the shop was in the heart of the city my riding was more street light sprints than leisure. It’s always about striking a balance between leisure and the excitement of the next challenge before me.

Pushing my limits and making tangible and measurable improvements on the bike seem easier for me when they aren’t measured from one street sign to the next. Rather, I find the time I have on the bike and the #ridewithaview help keep me going beyond any limitations I have set before me.
