Join us on the 14th, 15th and 16th July 2016 for a long weekend of films, talks and events.
On Thursday 14th July, we will be hosting and launching the first in a series of talks at the BFF Brighton’s opening night at Onca, with a talk from Jet McDonald. A regular writer for Boneshaker magazine, Jet will talk about his journey from Bristol to India by bike, using the components of a bicycle to illustrate his journey from western to eastern philosophy, which is based around his book, Mind is the Ride, which he is currently crowdfunding for. Following Jet’s talk the BBQ will be fired up, the bar open and music playing.
As well as a weekend of films at the Duke of York’s Picturehouse on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th July, BFF events include a photography exhibition from local curators Miniclick, an installation and making workshop at ONCA from Reilly Cycleworks Brighton, a discovery ride around town organised by Ridewithaview and Rule5bikes an exhibition from OlsenBicycles curated by Ridewithaview, a RichMitch Grand Tour colouring competition in collaboration with Velodrome publishing and Drops cycling followed by an after party organised by BeNothing headlined by eccentricore synth-punkers, AK/DK.
